SHOWCASING INNATE TALENTS

Universal English High School Goregaon West conducted its Annual Prize Distribution ceremony on 21st December 2017. With a live band and an outdoor stage, students made the most of the opportunity and showcased their hidden talents. Dressed as fishermen, students danced to a Marathi song and took the energy levels up a notch. The primary section enacted a poem, portraying the lion as a symbol of power. Towards the end, they appealed to the audience to live with love instead of striving constantly for power.
The Principal, Mrs. Sheila Seth said, “We try to identify the potential of students and hone their abilities, linking it to various life skills”
Along with the band, some students in their melodious voices spread hope and positivity in everyone present.
A play that revolved around anti corruption was presented , in which students stated that bribery adversely affects the society. Students also told the story of the birth of Jesus Christ through a musical show.
Rajinder Kaur Thind, the Deputy Education Inspector was the chief gist for the event. She said, “Such events give students a platform to explore their hidden talents”
Adding to the thought, an official of the school Mr. Millind Seth expressed:”The talent displayed by the students today assures us that they are moving in the right direction”
